We had a great ride out and e-mountain bike experience. The guide (i cant remember his name) was brilliant and very knowledgeable about the bikes, the area and the views!!
The ride was perfect for us as we had never been on an e-bike before. Just the right level of adventure. We got to experience places we would not have been able to on regular bikes. Will definately be back during the summer months. Although the weather was not an issue and more fun with mud!!

What an amazing adventure, WOW ! those e-bikes are great for any age and ability (someone in our group has a lifelong respiratory condition & they loved it)- yes, you still have to pedal a bit but well worth it for the views. Tom was great with the safety briefing, and took the time to answer all our questions and didn't let us loose onto the hills until we'd all had a go and were comfortable. Good fun & great value for money! Would definitely do this again x

Ian was so welcoming.  It was a pleasure using the electric bikes, we went through a full overview of the bikes and the tracks available.  The view from the mountain was breath taking and weather was amazing.  The mountain bikes are brand new and in excellent condition with full suspension.  We hired for 1.5 hours but there was no rush to return if we got slightly lost.  You can book out for two sessions or take the 1/2 or 1 days guided tour highly recommended.  Even if the weather is not the best Ian has all the wet weather gear you could ever need.  It was amazing.  We will definitely hire again it’s great to support local business. Having had many holidays in Newport Pembrokeshire we’d often toyed with the idea of taking our bikes, but always had too much other gear for the water. 
We met Paul  from Hidden Routes at the weekly Monday market with one of his e-bikes and discovered a range of great value experiences. The booking process was simple, there were lots of routes we could choose from, sea to mountains, and the experience of riding their amazing machines was a dream. These guys are very knowledgeable about he area, personsble and we would definitely hire bikes or a guided tour again in the future, Would  highly recommend the trails to any beginner or expert rider, loads of fun!!!

Absolutely loved our experience with the e-bikes. We did the 1.5 hour self guided tour and followed the recommended route which was a fun mix of uphill and some slightly more rugged surfaces along the bridle path. The e-bike made the steep hill feel like a breeze. I would definitely recommend doing this as new way to explore the Preseli mountains.

Half Day Guided Tours

A challenging ride for an inexperienced E mountain biker, but expertly led by Jacob, who was very patient waiting for me to often catch-up. (Unusual foggy conditions for early July). Valuable advice on suitable kit, etc. provided by Pete prior to the ride. Great bike!

I had not previously done mountain biking nor used an e-bike before but wanted to try both so my son Cameron, age 21, and myself signed up for a 4 hour tour. Our guide was Ian. 
We started off with a short trial of the bikes in a nearby playing field before setting off so we could get used to the gear changes, the brakes and different levels of power. Once we felt at ease with the bikes we set off. 
Ian expertly guided us up the Carningli mountain leading us along fields, small tracks in ancient woodlands and forest tracks. We were rewarded with a fantastic view over Cardigan bay before heading back down to Newport. 
The tour was exhilarating - couple of very small stretches I found a little daunting and so walked a short way along these sections. 
Sadly the weather was not kind to us but I barely noticed the rain nor the fact I was soaked through. The bikes were tremendous and were unperturbed by the terrain. 
Overall it was a tremendous tour and allowed us to see parts of the Pembrokeshire countryside we wouldn’t normally have seen. My son loved it relishing the thrills of going downhill at speed.
My only word of caution, you need to be reasonably fit to get the most out of the tour.
